Manufacturing Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking to hire multiple Manufacturing Technicians at our Paoli, IN location. These positions are available for day or night shifts. Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Manufacturing Technician will perform various production tasks involved in manufacturing soft lining tubes for cured-in-place pipe.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and handle materials for automated slitting machines.
• Manually cut materials using shears and rotary cutters.
• Construct tubes on semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Manually construct tubes using heat bonding and stitching processes.
• Seal tube seams and splices using semi-automated and manual methods.
• Conduct visual inspections of materials and finished products.
• Stack and package work-in-progress and finished products.
• Construct various tube installation-related accessories.
• Fabricate and repair wooden pallets and other packaging materials.
• Perform production activities in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, internal work instructions, manufacturing specifications, and safety policies.
• Assist in production, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and factory maintenance.
• Identify nonconformances during production and notify supervisors for review.
• Authorize suspension of materials, processes, or products if nonconformances are suspected or identified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under stress, meet deadlines, and follow directions.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Identify problems and suggest or implement solutions; interpret policies and procedures.
• Work effectively within a team and matrix management environment.
