At TA Instruments, the Manufacturing Technician position offers a challenging opportunity to enhance electronic and mechanical skills while working as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair analytical instruments, including accessories and service parts, to establish specifications and test procedures.
  • Analyze instrument test data and evaluate performance according to established specifications. Keep appropriate data for analysis.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical work or rework as needed.
  • Prepare instruments for final shipment, including configuration and packing.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with digital and analog circuits.
  • Knowledge of PC-based instrument control and data analysis.
  • Critical thinking skills to resolve issues and non-routine problems.
  • Ability to work independently.
