At TA Instruments, the Manufacturing Technician position offers a challenging opportunity to enhance electronic and mechanical skills while working as a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Test, troubleshoot, and repair analytical instruments, including accessories and service parts, to establish specifications and test procedures.
  2. Analyze instrument test data and evaluate performance according to established specifications and test procedures, keeping appropriate data for later analysis.
  3. Perform mechanical and electrical work/rework as needed.
  4. Prepare instruments for final shipment, including configuration and packing.
  5. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have completed an Associate's degree at an accredited post-secondary school in electronics, electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a closely related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Experience working with digital and analog circuits.
  3. Knowledge of PC-based instrument control and data analysis.
  4. Ability to think critically, resolve issues, and handle non-routine problems.
  5. Ability to work independently.
