Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a client in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves setup, operation and cleaning of process equipment in a biologics environment to manufacture plasma-derived protein therapies.

Shift is graveyard, 10:00 pm–6:00 am, with a duration of 6+ months and potential extension. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and strong attention to detail, plus familiarity with MS Office and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate process equipment in a biologics processing environment.
• Adhere to FDA procedures and safety policies.
• Document activities in accordance with FDA regulations.
• Clean and maintain facilities and equipment in a controlled clean-room setting.
• Perform basic analytical measurements (pH, turbidity, conductivity).
• Operate UF units, chromatography columns, CIP/SIP systems, and centrifuges.

The Fountain Group iscurrently seeking an Manufacturing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA. Details for the position are as follows:

Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90032, USA

Shift: Graveyard Shift, 10.00pm to 6.00am

Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension/conversion based on performance and budget)

Hourly Rate on W2:$ 24.20

The manufacturing technician is an integral part of the overall process required to convert human plasma to injectable protein therapies. The technician is responsible for the set-up, operation and cleaning of various types of process equipment utilized to separate, purify, fill, inspect and package the protein products manufactured by ***.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment for plasma derived pharmaceuticals.
• Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to FDA regulations.
• Strong emphasis on documentation according to FDA regulations.
• Adhere to departmental corporate safety policies.
• Responsible for facility and equipment cleaning.
• All work is performed in a clean room (sanitized) manufacturing environment.
• Responsible for basic process analysis such as pH, refractive index, turbidity, and conductivity measurements.
• Operates manufacturing equipment such as ultrafiltration (UF) units, chromatography columns, Clean In Place (CIP) systems, Steam In Place (SIP) systems and centrifuges.
• Utilizes touch screen Operator Interface Terminals (Client).

• Ability to gown and work in an aseptic/clean room environment.
• Exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals and biological hazards.
