Job Description

Under moderate supervision, working from written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings and test procedures, the Manufacturing Technician will position, build, test, repair, and modify production mechanical and electronic components and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Devises, fabricates, and assembles mechanical/electromechanical and electronic components for various products. May install, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, or perform routine maintenance.
• Coordinates and participates in final assembly, connecting valves, pumps, controls, cabling, tubing, power sources, and instruments.
• Activates controls to apply electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical power.
• Reviews project instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications and objectives.
• Conducts tests under operational conditions to evaluate performance and reliability.
• Analyzes test results, makes modifications, and records procedures and results.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma, vocational or technical training, and 2-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
