As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a critical role in validating the functionality, reliability, and performance of complex server and hardware systems. You will be responsible for performing system setup, testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and rework activities to identify and resolve technical issues prior to customer delivery.

The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude, strong analytical skills, and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Testing & System Validation
  • Perform setup, configuration, calibration, testing, and validation of electronic, mechanical, and system-level assemblies.
  • Execute functional, diagnostic, and performance testing on components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications.
  • Verify system readiness and product quality through established testing methodologies and procedures.
  • Perform testing on complex server, storage, networking, and computing systems.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
  • Diagnose, isolate, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level failures using established test procedures and diagnostic tools.
  • Analyze test results and identify root causes of defects, performance issues, and system failures.
  • Perform corrective actions, repairs, and rework on assemblies and completed systems to restore full functionality.
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to achieve resolution.
Process Execution & Documentation
  • Follow TPI work instructions, specifications, and quality standards with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
  • Interpret SOW technical documentation, and test requirements to determine appropriate testing methodologies and acceptance criteria.
  • Document test results, failure analysis findings, corrective actions, and repair activities accurately and completely.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings, troubleshooting activities, and recommended solutions.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve test processes, product quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide feedback on recurring failures, process gaps, and quality concerns to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence efforts by helping reduce defects, rework, and production delays.
Operational Support
  • Assist with additional manufacturing activities such as unpacking, packaging, labeling, staging, and crating products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
  • Support cross-functional teams and perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Qualifications
  • Experience testing, troubleshooting, or repairing computer hardware, networking equipment, servers, or electronic systems.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware components, system configurations, and diagnostic processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, work instructions, specifications, and test requirements.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, production, or electronics assembly environments preferred.
