Job summary

Milk-Bone® is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate high-speed production equipment in a bakery setting. The role involves processing and packaging Milk-Bone products with afternoon/evening shifts and possible weekend work. Strong emphasis on safety, GMP compliance, and teamwork.

Minimum 3+ years manufacturing experience preferred; high school diploma required with an Associate degree preferred. Candidates should be proficient with PLCs and basic computer tools used in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related manufacturing experience or equivalent technical/vocational experience preferred.
• Selected individuals must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated and responsible, and work well within a team environment.
• Use of computers and PLCs in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work afternoon and evening shifts; shifts can alternate weekly; weekend work required.
• Follow all Safety Rules and GMP practices.

Summary

Work in a variety of areas, operating high-speed manufacturing production equipment in processing and packaging to produce Milk-Bone product for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Positions are afternoons and evenings and shifts can alternate weekly. Assigned shift attendance and weekend work is required.
• Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
• Work in all areas of processing and packaging, as assigned, which includes operating, being in close proximity to and crossing platforms over machinery. Cross-training will occur throughout the facility in all aspects of high-speed manufacturing.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Assist fellow employees as needed.
