Job summary

Igloo Products Corp is seeking a Technical Superintendent - Manufacturing in Katy, TX to lead the technical team and ensure production efficiency and quality. You will coordinate with maintenance, tooling, and process departments to implement SOPs and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least five years’ production and supervisory experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum five (5) years of production experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or technical lead experience.
• Experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages and supervises assigned Technical Supervisor, including annual performance reviews and development plans.
• Provide leadership to achieve safety, quality, schedule attainment, and efficiency targets within budget.
• Coordinate with other departments to align production priorities and staffing.
• Define and drive standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across the department.
• Collaborate with HR/Safety/Quality on training and compliance.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-saving improvement projects.
• Develop internal career progression for technical staff and support succession planning.
• Present monthly improvement projects during Gemba Kaizen meetings.
