Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation in United States (Town of Alden) is seeking an assembler/inspector to perform assembly and inspection tasks following established procedures. The role emphasizes cross-training opportunities, adherence to GDP and MPI/QWI instructions, and contributing to production quality.

The position requires reading blueprints, basic measurement skills, and familiarity with inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction.
• Must possess the ability to recognize defects in workmanship.
• Demonstrate competency in assembly processes.
• Read blueprints preferred.
• Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred.
• Previous light assembly experience in a regulated industry with Medical devices preferred.
• Certification for IPC soldering standards for Medical device and Military markets.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Integer Core Beliefs, Behavioral Based Safety process and Integer Associate Quality Policy.
• Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per MPI’s and QWI’s.
• Understands own tasks and how they relate to others in their team; follows Standard Work where applicable.
• Understands overall production flow within their department.
• Assembles component parts as per print; uses manual and automatic machine operation.
• Inspects parts and assemblies for conformance to specifications; escalates quality non-conformances.
• Completes required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per GDP.
• May package assemblies for shipping.
• Participates in team activities focused on process/product improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment per procedures and regulations.
• Actively participates in flex break programs as required.
• Expands skill base through on the job training and cross training.
• Performs other functions as required.
