RBC Bearings Incorporated in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am) to process components through the liner process. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to drawings and procedures.

Ideal candidates will have high school education, English literacy, and ability to work overtime, read blueprints, and lift up to 40 pounds while maintaining quality and teamwork on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull and reach above shoulder level. The employee must be able to carry/lift up to 40 pounds and be able to rotate item being handled.
• Work on feet for entire shift.

Purpose And Scope

The purpose of this Manufacturing Tech I position is to process components through the liner process.

Roles And Responsibilities

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status. Non-US Citizens may be restricted from certain programs.

Preferred Skills, Education & Experience

• Previous mechanical or other manufacturing experience preferred.
• Autoclave and/or Sandblast experience is a plus.
• Experience with measuring equipment.
• Ability to read part drawings (flag notes, dimensions, tolerances).
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision.
