The incumbent will follow standard procedures, record production data, and collaborate with the Production Supervisor to sustain reliable output and continuous improvement. This is a full-time position with typical weekday hours.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Entry-level or prior manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and drawings and report issues clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manufacturing and assembly tasks in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and drawings.
  • Perform basic inspections and record production data as required.
  • Handle materials, components, and tools in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S and safety standards.
  • Identify and report defects or abnormalities to the supervisor or quality team.
  • Support production flow by staging materials and assisting in process operations.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I (MT1)

JOB OVERVIEW

The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for executing defined manufacturing tasks in support of production operations. This role focuses on following standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The technician works under direction to support production processes and contributes to consistent, reliable output. This role reports to the Production Supervisor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Consistently models the core values of the company both internally and externally.
  • Openly commit to and support company processes and systems.
  • Understand and follow the processes of the Rampart Quality System.
  • Execute manufacturing and assembly tasks in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and drawings.
  • Perform basic inspections and record production data as required.
  • Handle materials, components, and tools in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
  • Identify and report defects, issues, or abnormalities to appropriate personnel.
  • Support production flow by staging materials and assisting in process operations.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Any other duty as required by supervisor.

  • Physical Demands:The role involves standing, sitting, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Manual dexterity is required for handling small components and tools. Lifting and moving objects up to 50 lb.
  • Work Hours:Full-time position with standard working hours, typically Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet production deadlines.
  • Protective Gear:Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection is mandatory to ensure safety.
  • Temperature:The temperature in the assembly shop may vary but is typically maintained at a comfortable level. Occasional exposure to cooler or warmer conditions may occur depending on the season and ventilation.
