Qnity Electronics is seeking a Technical Area Manager to lead technical execution, drive process stability, and champion continuous improvement within a manufacturing area. This onsite role partners with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering to boost safety, quality, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in industrial manufacturing in a technical or engineering role.
• Six Sigma Certification.
• Experience with process control, root cause analysis, statistics, and CI methods.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable results.
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, customer focus, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Process and Equipment Engineers to drive ownership and continuous improvement.
• Improve process stability, capability, yield, and scrap reduction via data-driven methods.
• Support Process Safety Management and reinforce safety standards for sustainable actions.
• Serve as technical lead for process/equipment/quality issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Lead MRB activities, cycle-time reduction, and process improvement projects.
• Partner across functions to identify opportunities and improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Translate business goals into actionable technical execution plans for throughput and backlog reduction.
• Drive Kaizen initiatives; ensure standardized and sustainable solutions aligned with needs.
• Support capital projects, process optimization, and reliability improvements.
• Coach teams and foster a culture where challenges are solved at the source.
