Job summary

Trex Company in Winchester, Virginia, is seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader to coordinate a 24/7 production team and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will supervise 40-60 hourly employees through 4-6 floor-level leaders, manage attendance and training, participate in hiring, and champion a people-first culture while aligning production to budget and KPIs.

The role requires at least 4 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, emotional intelligence, and strong

Must have a high degree of emotional intelligence and a continuous improvement mindset.
Effective oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated leadership in a self-directed manufacturing team.
Four years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, direct, and oversee activities of manufacturing employees in a 24/7 production environment.
Serve as the point person for time and attendance, scheduling, and training and development.
Lead recruitment and retention efforts for new employees.
Maintain a safe, quality-focused culture and resolve safety hazards promptly.
Drive continuous improvement and manage performance via KPIs.
