Job summary

Trex Company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist II to provide site-level EHS support at the Winchester plant. You will lead EHS initiatives, train staff, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while promoting a strong safety culture on the plant floor.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, or a HS diploma with 7+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with 3–5 years EHS experience or HS diploma with 7+ years in an EHS role.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-level EHS support to plant leadership and production teams.
• Lead EHS initiatives, policies, and training to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage environmental permit compliance and PPE programs.
• Lead job hazard analyses and participate in safety reviews and drills.
