Job Description

Tyco Fire Protection Products (TFPP) is recruiting a Manufacturing Team Leader at our Monroe, NC site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor operators to ensure finished products are assembled, fabricated, and packaged correctly.
• Ensure employees receive breaks and lunch on time.
• Notify supervisors, engineers, materials, and maintenance of issues requiring assistance.
• Maintain production schedules and work order completion.
• Prepare raw materials and finished products according to specifications, including packing and sorting.
• Assign workloads to team members.
• Ensure product quality meets testing standards and facilitate cross-training.
• Provide production reports and key performance metrics.
• Supervise employees in sensor and gas detection areas, adhering to safety policies and laws.
• Enforce attendance policies and report discrepancies.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing operations.

Technical Skills:

• Leadership and team management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, BAAN.
• Knowledge of IPC 610, ESD, Hazmat DOT regulations.
