Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Production Team Lead to oversee workflow and production, assign tasks to operators, monitor equipment, and ensure timely schedules. You will mentor staff, manage team performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to obtain hoist and forklift licenses, and communicate effectively with staff and management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Solomon, KS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing/technical environment.
• Ability to obtain a hoist and forklift license.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Able to respond to problems with a few concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Workflow & Production Oversight.
• Assign daily tasks to operators based on skills and workload.
• Monitor equipment utilization and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and prioritize urgent orders.
• Assist supervisor with inventory reports and act as supervisor in their absence.
• Team management and development; mentor and train new team members.
