Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Manufacturing Production Lead to coordinate daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. This frontline role supports employee development and serves as a liaison between staff and management.

You will lead production operations, assign work, monitor performance, and address issues to minimize downtime. The position emphasizes adherence to specifications and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related job experience.
• Experience leading others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and around moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversee daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Assign work, monitor employee performance, and provide direction to production staff.
• Monitor workflow and address operational issues to minimize downtime and production delays.
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
