Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams, ensure on-time schedules, and maintain safety and quality standards.

You will guide high performance teams, coach staff, and support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives in a union or non-union setting. This role emphasizes People First culture and efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with three (3) or more years of manufacturing experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 small or similar areas within the production facility/line.
• Lead production team members in union and/or non-union environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide performance feedback and appraisals to guide development.
• Educate and enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards and processes.
• Support maintenance, continuous improvement, and value stream projects.
• Conduct root-cause analyses to resolve problems and implement improvements.
• Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues.
• Create and sustain 5S in work areas and maintain tools/materials.
