Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Team Lead to direct a production line and oversee 5–40 associates. You will coach, train, and apply AMS tools to meet SQDC metrics, while addressing constraints and driving continuous improvement.

You will lead daily Tier 1 meetings, maintain cross-training, and support other production areas as needed, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in manufacturing or related field.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as 5S and problem solving.
• Lean training or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of operations products, processes, and equipment including safety, quality, setup and maintenance.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication; proactive and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous flow of production to meet planned output while following safety, quality, delivery, cost and maintenance standards.
• Facilitate training and development of production employees with clear performance expectations.
• Lead AMS projects and use visual management tools to drive improvement and engagement.
• Lead daily Tier 1 meetings and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide support to other production areas as needed and assist with cycle counting.
• Complete standard work and audits; participate in corrective actions from MCA process.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and proactively address safety concerns.
