SONOCO CANADA in Denver, PA is seeking a Team Lead I to supervise and hands-on guide the production team on multiple lines. The role reports to the Site Lead and focuses on achieving quality expectations while driving continuous improvement.

The position requires 5 years of manufacturing experience, forklift and shipping/receiving exposure, and strong communication skills. Expect a steady on-site schedule with responsibilities across safety, quality and operations.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing/warehouse/shipping
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and specification sheets
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
• Familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of employees across multiple manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams.
• Make incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured product.
• Provide required administrative tasks and deliverables.
• Drive performance improvements to meet and exceed goals.
• Apply critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area (5S familiarity).
• Support plant manager and Sonoco quality and safety policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
