Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. in Hillside, IL seeks a Manufacturing Team Lead to guide a production line under the supervision of the Production Supervisor. You will delegate tasks, monitor inventory, enforce policies, and train associates to meet goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities include safety coaching, enforcing procedures, planning daily schedules with Supply Chain, coordinating with maintenance and engineering, and driving productivity and product quality on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal/written).
• Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proven ability to train other employees.

Responsibilities

• Coach safety, quality and productivity to meet objectives.
• Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Maintain time and attendance records and assist staffing.
• Provide input for performance appraisals.
• Conduct safety observations and toolbox talks to identify risks.
• Ensure the line is running safely, smoothly and producing quality product.
• Be responsible for production output and product quality.
• Plan, organize, direct and run day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Create a daily scheduling plan with the Supervisor based on weekly schedule.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering and metrology to keep equipment in good condition.
• Engage in problem solving and troubleshoot process equipment and product performance.
