Corning is seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader at our Painted Post, NY facility to gain cross-functional exposure across engineering, plant operations, and leadership. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, and production staff to meet production goals while guiding a team in a large-scale plant.

This role requires prioritizing production schedules, improving operations, and tracking metrics to meet safety and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office; quick learner and problem-solver.
• Able to collaborate across departments to implement solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with manufacturing or operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, plant leadership, and operations to meet production goals.
• Prioritize and execute production schedules based on product and equipment needs.
• Develop and sustain activities in the production areas to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Maintain manufacturing metrics tracking and reporting.
• Lead a team, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Oversee employee timecards and payroll.
