Cummins Inc. is seeking to fill a C Shift manufacturing role focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will operate within standardized processes, perform multi-role rotations, and actively participate in problem solving to meet production goals.

The position emphasizes proactive safety behavior, adherence to quality standards, and teamwork across the production line in a challenging, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge from specialized training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety systems function properly and the work area is safe at all times.
• Follow standardized processes and daily procedures.
• Use Standardized Work principles to drive continuous performance improvement.
• Maintain polyvalence by being trained for multiple roles and aware of job rotations.
• Ensure product quality by identifying, analyzing, and reworking defects as needed.
• Provide proactive problem solving with practical understanding of issues.
• Support production when team members are absent or additional support is needed.
• Encourage continuous improvement ideas and participate in solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Collaborate with Team Manager, Supervisor, and Coordinator on daily operations.
