Job summary

SEL is growing its Manufacturing team and seeks a recruiting professional to build pipelines from entry level to senior technical and leadership roles. You will manage full hiring processes, attract and screen candidates, and collaborate with hiring teams to solve challenges and improve hiring efficiency.

This role offers creativity in hiring, ownership of recruitment activities, and the opportunity to contribute to SEL’s mission to make electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related experience.
• Typically 2+ years of recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to attract/source candidates and build pipelines for various positions and levels.
• Ability to mentor and teach Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
• Strong organizational skills handling up to 30 positions at a time.
• Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Background check results satisfactory; negative drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Promote and sell SEL’s culture and values to attract candidates.
• Follow standard recruiting guidelines to attract, recruit, screen and interview candidates; adapt to customer needs.
• Oversee and fill positions efficiently and timely with top talent, with little oversight.
• Recommend placement of internal and referred candidates for entry-level positions.
• Lead and support development and implementation of improvement efforts.
• Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
• Work independently to define and follow area processes and guidelines; propose solutions.
• Model, teach, and apply SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related professional experience
