Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a recruiting professional to build pipelines for entry-level to senior technical and leadership roles. You’ll manage the full hiring process—attracting, sourcing, screening, and securing top talent aligned with SEL values.

You’ll work with hiring teams, innovate in hiring, and help make electric power safer, more economical. This role emphasizes customer service, confidentiality, and filling positions efficiently with up to 30 openings

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to attract/source candidates and build pipelines for various positions and levels.
• Mentor and teach Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information and data.
• Strong organizational skills managing up to 30 positions at a time.
• Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL; Negative drug test results required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Promote and sell SEL’s culture and values to attract candidates.
• Follow standard recruiting guidelines to attract, recruit, screen and interview candidates.
• Oversee and fill positions efficiently and timely with top talent.
• Recommend placement of internal and referred candidates for entry-level positions.
• Lead and support development and implementation of improvement efforts.
• Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
• Work independently to define and follow area processes and guidelines.
• Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. The pay range may differ in other locations based on cost of labor.
