Job summary

Stoke Space seeks a Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead onboarding, adoption, and scaling of Boltline with world-class hardware engineers and manufacturers. You will be their strategic partner, driving onboarding excellence, adoption momentum, and long-term success while collaborating across teams to build scalable processes and tools that amplify customer impact.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing.
  • Experience in Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Consulting, Product Management.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting complex systems such as MES, ERP, PLM, or similar.
  • Domain familiarity with aerospace, defense, energy, or hardware-intensive industries.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and consultative skills, able to influence technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong process design and analytical thinking; comfortable building tools (e.g., dashboards, workflows, templates) for scalability.
  • Proven track record of building onboarding programs and adoption engines in engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep working knowledge of Stoke's short- and long-term business goals.
  • Translate those goals into a clear point of view on what Boltline needs to do to support Stoke.
  • Advocate Stoke's needs to Boltline's product team; advocate Boltline's constraints and capabilities back to Stoke leadership.
  • Serve as the single point of contact between Stoke (ops, quality, ME, supply chain, IT, leadership) and Boltline.
  • Build trusted relationships with plant leaders, functional VPs, and shop-floor users.
  • Own the Stoke-Boltline vendor relationship end-to-end: QBRs, escalations, SLAs, roadmap negotiation.
  • Be the 'voice of the operator' externally to Boltline, and the 'voice of Boltline's constraints' internally.
  • Partner with Stoke leadership to drive change management for Boltline rollouts and major releases.
  • Work with Product Enablement to translate Boltline changes into LMS content Stoke users can actually apply.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, gather user feedback, iterate on rollout playbooks.
  • Anticipate resistance and design mitigation before launch, not after.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences; deliver regular updates.

Description

As a Manufacturing Systems Manager, you’ll lead the charge in helping world's most innovative hardware engineers and manufacturers integrate, adopt, and scale with Boltline. You’ll serve as their strategic partner and advocate, driving onboarding excellence, adoption momentum, and long-term success while collaborating across teams to build scalable processes and tools that amplify customer impact.

Responsibilities
Business Understanding & Advocacy
  • Develop deep working knowledge of Stoke's short- and long-term business goals
  • Translate those goals into a clear point of view on what Boltline needs to do to support Stoke
  • Advocate Stoke's needs to Boltline's product team; advocate Boltline's constraints and capabilities back to Stoke leadership
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the single point of contact between Stoke (ops, quality, ME, supply chain, IT, leadership) and Boltline
  • Build trusted relationships with plant leaders, functional VPs, and shop-floor users : know workflows and pain points firsthand
  • Own the Stoke-Boltline vendor relationship end-to-end: QBRs, escalations, SLAs, roadmap negotiation
  • Be the "voice of the operator" externally to Boltline, and the "voice of Boltline's constraints" internally
Requirements Intake & Qualification
  • Gather requests from across Stoke; interrogate, simplify, and defer aggressively before they reach Boltline
  • Push back on asks that don't clearly serve business goals, protect Boltline from complexity creep and protect Stoke from bad workflows
  • Prioritize Stoke's asks so fewer, higher-quality requests get through to Boltline
  • Recommend the right path for each request: standard configuration, customization, workaround, or "no"
Adoption & Enablement
  • Partner with Stoke leadership to drive change management for Boltline rollouts and major releases
  • Work with Product Enablement to translate Boltline changes into LMS content Stoke users can actually apply
  • Monitor adoption metrics, gather user feedback, iterate on rollout playbooks
  • Anticipate resistance and design mitigation before launch, not after
Communication
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, from shop-floor operators to executives
  • Deliver regular updates to Stoke leadership on Boltline roadmap, Stoke asks, adoption, and risks
Qualifications

Compensation

Target Levels:

  • Level 3 Range: $130,620 - $195,825
  • Level 4 Range: $163,275 - $244,860
