Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer for the Savannah Machinery Works site in Georgia. You will design and commission industrial automation hardware across gas turbine component manufacturing and repair processes, focusing on robust, scalable systems with safe operation and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, or related field; experience considered.
• 5+ years in industrial automation, PLCs, control systems, robotics or CNC integration.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably regulated industries.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and control logic; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and support automation hardware including PLCs, HMIs, controllers, sensors, robotics and networks.
• Develop hardware standards, panel specifications, and commissioning documentation.
• Support integration of machine tools, inspection assets, gantries, and production systems.
• Coordinate MDC/DNC requirements and data retrieval from Windchill; ensure reliability and scalability.
