Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Draper, UT, is seeking a Maintenance and Manufacturing Support Technologist to provide technical manufacturing support to Operations and Engineering. The role supports equipment validation, process improvement, and manufacturing readiness on 1st shift (4/10, Mon-Thu, starting at 5am).

Responsibilities include performing feasibility studies, preventive maintenance, and documenting actions in accordance with GDP.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent 6 years related experience required
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent 4 years related experience required
• Previous experience in manufacturing and/or medical device preferred
• GDP (Good Documentation Practices) knowledge and documentation handling

Responsibilities

• Design, set-up and execute feasibility studies and tests to develop findings for validation and improvement of equipment and processes
• Perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment to validate operation and minimize downtime
• Identify and respond to equipment/process failures and document impact assessments
• Review and transfer information to ECRs, SOPs, drawings, and tooling for Engineering approval
• Maintain regular attendance and work a full shift
