Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Utah (Draper) is seeking an Engineer II to sustain the THV delivery systems manufacturing and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with2 years of experience or Master’s degree with internship or senior project in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with reputable regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Experience with RCA, NCRs, and CAPAs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing processes using engineering methods (Six Sigma, LEAN) to improve processes and equipment design.
• Use root cause analysis to solve moderately complex issues.
• Develop experiments and tests to qualify and validate processes; analyze results and report findings.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and diagnose inline equipment issues.
• Address moderately complex compliance issues (CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations).
• Create training and work instructions for production to transfer knowledge.
• Create project plans and manage deliverables using project management tools.
• Supervise manufacturing support tasks and coordinate technicians.
• Collaborate with Quality, Complaints, Operations and NPD to solve daily manufacturing problems.
