Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician in Houston to support GMP production and aseptic processing of clinical and commercial products. This is a 6-month temporary assignment with on-site day shift and a 12-hour rotational schedule (2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on).

You will maintain clean room readiness, stock and set up materials, operate equipment such as autoclave and cryopreservation support processes, and follow GMP systems including LIMS and SAP.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing and cell therapies is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP systems (LIMS, SAP, MODA-ES) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supports GMP production of cell therapies, including cryopreservation and visual inspection.
• Coordinates autoclaving of materials and records for manufacturing processes.
• Operates manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment for routine production.
• Operates equipment like Controlled Rate Freezer, Autoclave, and related devices.
• Maintains routine inventory of related materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary:

The Manufacturing Support Technician will be responsible for completing tasks in support of production and aseptic processing of clinical and commercial grade products. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining, stocking, and set-up of clean room environment.

Job Duties:

• Participates in supporting roles as part of GMP production of cell therapies including Cryopreservation of FDP, Filter Integrity Testing, and Visual Inspection.
• Coordinates autoclaving of supporting materials, components, and/or records for Manufacturing processes
• Operation of manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment in support of routine clinical and commercial production
• Operating equipment such as Controlled Rate Freezer, SARTO, Heat Sealer, Autoclave, etc.
• Knowledgeable of GMP systems including LIMS, SAP, MODA-ES, Traka, etc.
• Routine inventory of related materials
• Other job duties as assigned
