Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician in Houston to support GMP production of cell therapies and aseptic processing. The role includes maintaining, stocking, and set-up of the clean room environment, and coordinating autoclaving and equipment operations.

Responsibilities span cryopreservation, inspection, and routine inventory while working with GMP systems and various lab devices. The position requires hands-on operation of multiple lab tools in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP production environment.
• Familiarity with aseptic processing.
• Knowledge of clean room protocols and containment.

Responsibilities

• Support GMP production of cell therapies including cryopreservation of FDP.
• Perform filter integrity testing and visual inspection.
• Coordinate autoclaving of materials and records for manufacturing processes.
• Operate equipment such as Controlled Rate Freezers, SARTO, Heat Sealer, Autoclave.
• Maintain routine inventory of related materials.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Summary: The Manufacturing Support Technician will be responsible for completing tasks in support of production and aseptic processing of clinical and commercial grade products. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining, stocking, and set-up of clean room environment.

Job Duties:

• Participates in supporting roles as part of GMP production of cell therapies including Cryopreservation of FDP, Filter Integrity Testing, and Visual Inspection.
• Coordinates autoclaving of supporting materials, components, and/or records for Manufacturing processes
• Operation of manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment in support of routine clinical and commercial production
• Operating equipment such as Controlled Rate Freezer, SARTO, Heat Sealer, Autoclave, etc.
• Knowledgeable of GMP systems including LIMS, SAP, MODA-ES, Traka, etc.
• Routine inventory of related materials
• Other job duties as assigned

Pay ranges between 20-25/hr based on experience
