Job Description Summary

Krystal Biotech, Inc is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Support Technician to support our new GMP facility in Moon Township. The Technician will work closely with the manufacturing team to uphold cleanroom standards, follow strict procedures, and ensure smooth manufacturing processes.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Assist in the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of equipment and manufacturing areas before and after production runs.
2. Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure facilities are prepared for production activities as per schedule.
3. Execute and maintain cleaning and sanitization protocols in compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
4. Conduct routine cleanroom inspections, identify issues, and report them promptly.
5. Accurately document procedures, batch records, cleaning logs, and other reports.
6. Follow safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
7. Support maintenance activities, including gas level checks, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
8. Participate in training to stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
9. Assist with material movement and work with EHS/Materials Teams on waste management.
10. Support a standard 40-hour work week with flexibility for occasional off-shift hours or weekends.
11. Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in biopharma manufacturing or related fields is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degrees in applicable fields such as life sciences or engineering will be considered in lieu of direct experience.
• Experience with sanitization, aseptic techniques, or sterile processes in regulated settings (GMP, ISO) is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to SOPs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
