Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Courtland (AL) seeks a level 2 Manufacturing Planner to support a fast-paced, highly technical build cycle. You will handle make part planning, release and monitor production orders, and manage BOM reviews in a cross-functional environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of supply chain or shop floor support in a technical manufacturing setting and experience with SAP/Oracle ERP systems; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior Supply Chain or Shop Floor Support experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Due to program requirements, must be a United States citizen.

Responsibilities

• Make part planning for all parts in assigned MRP Code(s).
• Release, monitor, and close production orders.
• Facilitate kit creation and delivery; manage Material Master and BOM review.
• Monitor material usage and exception messages.

Our facility in Courtland, AL has an immediate opportunity for a level 2 Manufacturing Planner to join our mission. In this role, you will support the tactical and strategic needs of a fast-paced and highly technical build cycle. No two days will be the same but every day will be filled with supporting the creation of some of the most technically advanced items ever to fly.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the make part planning of all the parts in an assigned MRP Code(s) which will include such activities as the following:

• Production order release, monitoring, and closure
• Facilitation of kit creation and delivery
• Material Master creation and management
• Manufacturing Bill of Material review
• Monitoring and recording of material usage
• Exception message monitoring and control

Standard Job Description: Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. Incumbents may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Basic Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior Supply Chain or Shop Floor Support experience in a technical manufacturing environment (e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, Farm Implement, etc.)
• Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Due to program requirements, must be a United States citizen

• APICS/ASCM certification(s)
• Experience working with a Quality Management System (AS or ISO
• Green Belt certification

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00
