Job summary

ALTA Performance Materials is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Columbus, OH team. You will serve as the primary IT partner to manufacturing and supply chain, bridging business needs to IT delivery teams and supporting ECC today while enabling the S/4HANA transition.

You will translate operational priorities into IT roadmaps, develop functional requirements, and work with onshore/offshore MSPs to ensure process harmonization and effective testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA in manufacturing and supply chain.
• Experience with MES ecosystems and shop-floor/OT adjacent processes.
• Participation in multiple end-to-end SAP projects.
• Experience working with global teams, onshore/offshore resources, and MSPs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT interface for manufacturing plants and supply chain stakeholders.
• Translate operational priorities (throughput, service, quality, safety, cost, uptime) into IT demand and roadmaps.
• Lead discovery and documentation of current and future-state manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Develop functional requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria for SAP and integrated manufacturing systems.
• Coordinate with Finance, Sales, and Logistics on end-to-end process impacts.
• Support ECC enhancements and S/4HANA transformation activities, including process harmonization, testing, and deployment readiness.
• Participate in UAT planning and execution for plant-facing capabilities.
