Job summary

Deceuninck North America in Monroe, OH seeks an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to drive performance across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will mentor staff, set work procedures, and lead continuous improvement efforts to meet short and long-term objectives.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of frontline supervision experience, a GED or higher, and exposure to Lean/Six Sigma. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong data-entry skills and independent work style are valued.

What you will do:

• Drive accountability for operational, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Provide direction, leadership and mentorship to employees in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that business objectives and satisfactory performance are met.
• Assesses competency and capabilities of direct reports, ensuring employee development.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Effectively participate in the process of employee selection, hiring and retention.
• Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Lead by example.
• Own safety culture for team. Manage safety investigations and related corrective actions. Participates on Safety Committee with meaningful contributions.

What you will bring:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Two to four years of frontline supervision experience. Manufacturing Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with computer systems to enter and track data.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles. Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Proven ability to mentor and manage employees.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency.
