Job summary

Deceuninck North America is seeking entry-level manufacturing operators willing to learn on the job and grow into skilled Production Tech roles. The company operates a 2-2-3 schedule with days and nights, offering benefits and a culture focused on safety and teamwork.

Starting pay is $19.00/hour with a $2.00/hour shift differential, with potential to reach $23.00+/hour within a year as you learn new skills. Production Techs can earn $30.00+/hour with differential as you advance.

Qualifications

• Able to follow written and verbal directions in English.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Mechanical understanding or willingness to learn reading schematics/prints.
• Able to monitor multiple manufacturing lines and stack/pack products.
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Communicate operations information to co-workers.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and meeting customer requirements.
• Able to perform precise measurements using basic tools (tape measure, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Follow directions and work safely on the production lines.
• Monitor and manage multiple manufacturing lines and packing operations.
• Read and interpret basic schematics/prints as needed.
• Communicate operations information to teammates.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, and customer requirements.
• Perform basic measurements with standard tools.

Job description

Kickstart your manufacturing career with on-the-job training and a clear path to grow!

Operators start at $19.00/hour (+$2.00/hour shift differential). Within 1 year you can earn $23.00+/hour (+ shift differential) as you learn new skills and position responsibilities.

Shift

Days: 7:45 am to 8:00pm (2-2-3 schedule)

Nights: 7:45 pm to 8:00 am (2-2-3 schedule)

Advancement Levels

Trainee to Operator C to Operator B to Operator A to Production Tech

What you’ll bring and what you’ll do on the job:

• Ability to follow directions (in writing and verbally provided in English)
• Attention to detail
• Mechanical understanding, ability, or willingness to learn, how to read schematics and prints
• Ability to monitor multiple manufacturing lines, including stacking and packing products
• Previous manufacturing experience helpful
• Communicate operations information to co-workers
• Focus on safety, quality and meeting customer requirements
• Ability to perform precise measurements using basic math and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers etc.)
