Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Production and Test Supervisor to oversee the Production and Test Departments in an ISO environment. You will ensure products and systems are manufactured and tested per procedures and drive improvements in quality and efficiency.

You will develop, implement, and enforce manufacturing and testing procedures, manage staffing, training, scheduling, and coordinate with R&D and customer service to ensure timely repair and maintenance.

Qualifications

• BSEE, BSBA or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
• Experience with large equipment shipping logistics and inventory management.
• Must be familiar with Manufacturing Resources Planning Systems.
• Must be high energy, self-starter, able to motivate and be results oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Develops, trains and motivates direct reports and ensures a safe and efficient work environment.
• Directs test department personnel to ensure proper board level, chassis level and systems level tests and develop fixtures and programs.
• Reviews R&D releases for manufacturability and testability; recommends design changes for efficient manufacturing.
• Establishes performance criteria, tracks performance, and maintains training logs.
• Continuously reviews capabilities and equipment; initiates resource adjustments as needed.
• Develops and controls budgets and quality targets; reports variances.
• Plans schedules; coordinates work across departments; resolves priority conflicts.
• Ensures production schedules are met and workflow is communicated.
• Manages shipping/receiving and inventory with direct reports.
• Ensures safe and clean working conditions across production and test.
