Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Supervisor in Menomonee Falls, WI to lead the Production and Test Departments within an ISO environment. You will ensure products and systems are manufactured and tested per procedures, and drive manufacturability improvements in new products.

Qualifications

• BSEE, BSBA or equivalent work experience required.
• 5-years supervisory experience in an electro-mechanical assembly environment required.
• Experience with large equipment shipping logistics and inventory management.
• Must be familiar with Manufacturing Resources Planning Systems.
• Must be high energy individual, and a self-starter, able to motivate, be results oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Develops, trains and motivates direct reports and ensures a safe and efficient work environment.
• Directs test department personnel to ensure proper board level, chassis level and systems level tests.
• Reviews releases from R&D for manufacturability and testability; recommends design changes for efficient manufacturing and testing.
• Establishes acceptable performance criteria for assembly and test personnel; tracks performance and maintains skills matrices.
• Continuously reviews technical capabilities in manufacturing/test and repair service areas; recommends changes in resources and equipment.
• Develops and controls manufacturing/test budgets and quality targets; reports variances.
• Monitors shipment status and loads in production/test; makes adjustments to meet goals.
• Schedules and coordinates work for the various departments; resolves priority conflicts.
• Ensures production schedules are met by planning and communicating workflow and job assignments.
• Ensures accuracy of issued parts, BOMs, routings, and drawings and processes RFAs.
• Implements ECO-driven activities affecting manufacturing or test.
• Monitors quality and implements corrective actions to minimize rejects.
• Monitors time and attendance via eTime and Attendance Policy.
• Works with materials management to ensure parts availability.
