Job Description

If you are an energetic Manufacturing Supervisor looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Pasadena, TX, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the Machining Operations on 2nd Shift - 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Supervise and lead hourly employees
• Establish a safe working environment and promote positive safety behaviors
• Manage daily operations to improve production, reduce costs, and enhance quality, delivery, and safety
• Maintain resources to meet production schedules
• Evaluate team and individual performance through reviews
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste handling, and other regulations
• Ensure quality standards are met through conformance to requirements
• Maintain machine functionality and proper maintenance
• Train new and existing staff
• Develop and implement process improvements
• Manage inventory and supply orders
• Assist in establishing and achieving site targets

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of machining experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Fisher products and manufacturing processes
• Experience diagnosing and resolving equipment and process issues
• Ability to learn proprietary systems quickly
