Job summary

Saxon Aerospace USA is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead shop-floor operations in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong machining/CNC background who can lead teams, manage production schedules, and drive quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machinist experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience with production scheduling, workforce planning, and employee development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working within an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing employees while maintaining a productive team environment.
• Plan and assign work based on production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor productivity, quality, labor hours, and on-time delivery.
• Read and interpret aerospace blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Identify and resolve production, equipment, and workflow issues.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and investigate manufacturing inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality requirements.
• Partner with management and cross-functional teams to address production and quality concerns.
