Job summary

TemperPack is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift (4pm-4am) at the North Las Vegas, NV facility. The role oversees production, safety, and quality, with a focus on meeting daily goals and maintaining GMP standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to support a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory ERP systems preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Able to be trained on powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manages human and material resources to meet production goals.
• Lead FA’s for repetitive issues.
• Monitor productivity, safety and cleanliness of the production area.
• Prepare and maintain production reports.
• Monitor headcounts for optimal production output.
• Delegate cleaning responsibilities to hourly workers and ensure PPE compliance.
• Coach workers on food safety and GMP adherence.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications by monitoring production lines.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manages human and material resources to meet production goals.
• Lead FA’s for repetitive issues.
• Responsible for productivity expectations.
• Prepares and maintains production reports.
• Monitors headcounts for optimal production output.
• Manages the safety and cleanliness of the production area.
• Delegates cleaning responsibilities to hourly temporary workers.
• Ensure all workers within the area of responsibility wear PPE.
• Coaches’ unsafe behaviors of production workers.
• Responsible for the quality of manufactured products.
• Monitors production lines to ensure products are produced to customer specifications.
• Coaches’ production workers on food safe production and adherence to GMP’s.

Qualifications: Education and Experience:

• Basic understanding of manufacturing terminology and tools.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations: production, shipping, receiving, inventory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to be trained in powered equipment
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred and considered an asset to support a diverse workface.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• 1-3 years’ experience with inventory ERP systems preferred.
• High School or GED.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Be on your feet for 10-12 hours a day
• Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
