Job summary

GE Aerospace in Michigan is seeking a capable team lead to direct hourly associates, drive safety, quality, production, and cost improvements, and ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication.

You will coordinate day-to-day with cell management, technicians and maintenance, build strong cell teams, and uphold company policies while adapting to shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence others.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a team environment.

Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm & 3pm - 11pm
• 3rd Shift 10:30pm - 6:30am & 11pm - 7pm
• 4th Weekend 6:30am - 6:30pm
• 5th Weekend 6:30pm - 6:30am

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Associates Degree and/or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and influence others
• Effective problem-solving skills in a team environment
• Adaptability to changing roles, responsibilities, and priorities

Desired Qualifications

• Machining experience
• Experience managing shop operations
• This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations, working with chemicals, and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
