Overhead Door Corporation in Mount Hope, OH, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor (Finance) for the 2nd shift to assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring of assigned departments. The role reports to the Manufacturing Production Manager and ensures production meets daily standards while maintaining quality and accurate inventory reporting for raw materials and finished goods.

The position requires hands-on leadership across lines, coaching staff, and driving Lean/Six Sigma improvements

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Kronos, Oracle, JD Edwards and MS Office.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical activity.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily production activities to ensure on time completion.
  • Oversee daily activities of production employees and supervise a shift of up to 40 staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to create a world class operation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and uphold quality standards.
  • Report performance metrics and collaborate with payroll for time-off records.

Job description

Manufacturing Supervisor (Finance)

This 2nd Shift position reports to the Manufacturing Production Manager and will assist in the planning, organizing, and monitoring of assigned departments. The manufacturing supervisor works across all lines/departments to ensure that production meets or exceeds the minimum daily standard, ensuring quality of product being produced and/or packaged and ensuring on-hand inventory reporting accuracy for both raw material and finished product.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate: MS Word/Excel, Kronos, Oracle, JD Edwards
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional bending, pushing/pulling, and reaching
Education
  • BS in Management or other related field or equivalent experience
