Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Understand upstream and downstream dependencies for proper product flow.
  • Monitor and coach employees; deliver performance reviews and help goal setting.
  • Drive employee engagement and effectively communicate changes.
  • Identify training needs and oversee training programs.
  • Address personnel issues promptly and equitably.
  • Maintain and control department work instructions and reports.
  • Provide data-driven input on staffing and capital needs.
  • Promote safety and assist in safety initiatives.

Responsible for department indicators and providing clear direction to department to meet department production objectives.2. Understand upstream and downstream departments to ensure accurate communication and appropriate product flow.3. Monitor employee performance, regularly provide employee feedback, empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals.4. Responsible for driving employee engagement and positively and accurately communicating change.5. Responsible for assessing employee training needs and providing/overseeing training.6. Actively and effectively address personnel issues and settle differences equitably and productively.7. Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions and reports.8. Provide input into staffing and capital needs through the collection and reporting of data.9. Promote safety standards to others and assist in implementing safety initiatives.10.
