Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation in Latrobe, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production staff, ensure safety, and drive operational results in a fast-paced environment. You will plan and schedule operations, address issues promptly, and foster a collaborative shop floor culture.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage priorities while promoting company policies and safety plans. Overtime and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Two year college degree preferred. High school diploma required.
• Two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational environment preferred
• MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, well organized and the ability to prioritize and make appropriate decisions. Strong problem solving and project management skills.
• Practical understanding of industrial/manufacturing principles, standards, methods, and practices. Knowledge of disciplined problem-solving methods.
• Ability to direct and supervise others, objectively evaluate performance, and train and develop others.
• Able to work in a production-oriented environment and the ability to work overtime, weekend work and shift work.
• Willing to work in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.
