We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor to support daily production operations and lead a team of 6-12 associates. This role is responsible for providing coaching, direction, and support to ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Supervisor will serve as a key partner on the manufacturing floor, working closely with Production and Quality to ensure an efficient and accurate flow of materials and orders throughout the production process. This individual will play an important role in developing associates, enforcing company policies and procedures, supporting process improvements, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Front-Half Night Schedule
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Back-Half Night Schedule
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Support quality in maintaining accurate product specifications within the Construction Master file.
- Maintain production data and data entry systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain scrap data and related data entry systems.
- Support inventory accuracy through physical inventories, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
- Manage the Tip & Die Program, including ordering, maintenance, and tooling tracking.
- Partner with IT to implement, maintain, and train employees on WMS and inventory systems.
- Support the implementation, training, and maintenance of ERP/WMS software.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Coach and develop associates with a focus on safety, quality, and performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and physical.
- 4-5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate routine and complex instructions.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate material handling and packaging equipment.
