Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in manufacturing/engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Summary**

Oversee and lead manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining high quality standards and a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities**

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of manufacturing associates to achieve daily production goals.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, quality control standards, and company policies.
• Schedule and assign work tasks, manage employee time and attendance, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor utilization.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
