Qualifications

  • Experience using Boeing Production System (BPS).
  • Proficiency utilizing Manufacturing Systems (CMES, ETS).

Manufacturing Superintendent

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Superintendent (Level M) to support the 777 Final Assembly MBU team in Everett, Washington.

A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 8+ years as a Manufacturing Manager mentoring, coaching, and leading teams
  • Experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • Proficiency utilizing Manufacturing Systems (CMES, ETS)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
  • 5+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
  • Experience in applying Lean principles or continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles
