CFS, a growing manufacturing company in Painesville, Ohio, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a collaborative finance team. You will handle daily transactions and journal entries, support inventory accounting, and contribute to bank reconciliations and financial reporting.

The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and bonus eligibility, with a 70,000 to 90,000 USD salary and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
• Assist with inventory accounting, including reconciliations, analysis, and related reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and support internal and external financial reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and efficiencies.
