Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its manufacturing accounting team. You will perform account reconciliations, process cash receipts, and assist with the month-end close while maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Prior accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of reconciliations and general accounting principles.
Experience with cash applications or accounts receivable.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Process and apply customer cash receipts accurately.
Assist with month-end close and related accounting activities.
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
Support the accounting team with daily accounting functions and special projects as needed.
